This is the Director’s Cut of a 3D product film I created for Owens Corning to spotlight their SureNail® Technology. The biggest creative challenge was making the shingle and the SureNail® band feel genuinely tactile. It took a lot of material tests and experimentation, but I believe the final look feels solid and believable.
The project was a great excercise to push textures and lighting, and it gave me a chance to dive deeper into Substance Sampler for some of the band texture work. I handled the 3D animation, lighting, texturing, rendering, and the full edit.
